A nomad, she studied economics and social sciences at the American University in Cairo, while studying painting with Fouad Kamel. Her family then moved to Montreal, where she obtained a degree in visual arts and music. It was at this time that she lost her hearing... with a thirst for discovery, she continued to travel the continents, always accompanied by sketchbooks that she filled persistently. Her work has been exhibited at the Guggenheim in Abu Dhabi, Documenta 13 in Cassel in 2012, and MoMA in New York in 2017...
