Alabaster bas-relief depicting a sculpted group of figures, four of them kneeling in prayer, the fifth standing, headless and draped, with his right hand on his shoulder.
This is probably part of a sacra conversazione; a holy figure introducing the commissioners of the work to the Virgin Mary and the infant Jesus.
Germany, first half of the 16th century.
36 x 35 x 9 cm.
