A cylindrical silver-plated metal dustpan resting on a base with moulded fillets. The plain body is engraved (later?) with a bishop's coat of arms. The lid, which opens with gags, is pierced with motifs of tulips, commas and carnations. It ends with a small turned seed. French work from the early 18th century. Height: 20.5 cm Expert : Mr DOUX

Straight burr and mahogany veneered writing desk, the flap decorated with a Gothic arch revealing 5 drawers and 2 others concealed, a niche with a mirror base; in the lower part, mirror base, drawer in the waist, plinth and square pillars. Gilded bronze trim, including antique winged dancers. Empire period. Cracks and accidents. Height 140, width 89, depth 41 cm
