Emil CIORAN (1911-1995).
P.A.S. in the book Elisabeth von Oesterreich, einsamkeit, Marcht and Freiheit. In-8, paperback (some defects). Vienna, 1986.
Long letter from Cioran on the flyleaf to the director Bérangère Bonvoisin, who in 1988 directed Le Salon transfiguré by Philippe Clévenot, based on the Empress Sisi and texts by Cioran: "Dear Bérangère Bonvoisin, unfortunately I'm not up to date with what's going on in Paris, I even have a genius for missing shows that should interest me. Is it tiredness, detachment or rather foolish wisdom? It's so true that even my soft spot for Sisi isn't what it used to be. So, with great regret, I can be of no help to you. Just in case, I am sending you these fascinating images of our idol. It will be my small contribution to the show you are preparing. Yours sincerely Cioran. Paris, 15 July 1988.
