Signed in English on top of the barrel: "MANUFd BY A.FRANCOTTE LICENSED BY DEANE ADAMS & LONDON". Marked on right side of frame "ADAMS PATENT N°6485", and AF stamp under crown. On cylinder No. 6485. On the left side in an oval ADAMS 1851 PATENT. Chased frame, nice rest of tanning. Good condition. For the anecdote, the defender of Belfort in 1870, the colonel Denfert-Rochereau was equipped with the same type of revolver.
