British 1 penny red stamp effigy of King George VI, large commemorative cancel. Patriotic illustration on the left "the warm reception of the huns in LWOW" Polish town then, today LVIV in Ukraine, conquered after fierce fighting by the Nazis in September 1939. The illustration shows a destroyed Panzer tank amidst the ruins of the town.
