Françoise Chamagne is a French visual artist, born in 1943. She is renowned for her work in painting and textile arts, mainly using linen as a medium since 2000. Her artistic approach is characterised by an exploration of themes of space and time, incorporating spiritual and ritual elements into her work.Chamagne creates works that oscillate between reality and fiction, often using felting techniques to bring her creations to life. Her work is described as a journey between the present and reminiscences of the past, allowing her to explore profound concepts through visual forms. She has also participated in several exhibitions, including a virtual exhibition in Malzéville in 2021, entitled 'Pour ainsi dire', which allowed visitors to experience her art in an immersive way.
The artist has exhibited his work in a variety of venues, including the Maison romaine in Épinal, where his work has been showcased. Her art is appreciated for its ability to engage the viewer in a reflection on time and space, while using natural materials and artisanal techniques.
