An Indo-Persian Islamic art talisman in the form of a poly-lobed agate, incised with calligraphy in Nasta'liq referring to Naad Aliyy taken from the Imams' call to prayer. The pendant is held in place by a braided cord with a gilded thread composed of beaded trimmings, mounted with cabochons in red cinnabar, spinach jade and a string of pearly beads. 3.5 x 5 cm
