Lésignac-Durand, known locally as Lésignac, is a commune in the eastern part of the Charente department known as Charente Limousine. It is situated in the canton of Montembœuf, between Montembœuf to the south-west, Chabanais to the north-east, Roumazières to the north and Massignac to the south.
Other possible locations for this rare coin include Ligniac (Corrèze), Lézigné (Deux-Sèvres) and Lézigné (Maine-et-Loire).
