Pages 245 to 302 are occupied by: "De l'émancipation des esclaves, discourses prononcés à diverses époques par M. A. de Lamartine". Stains and numerous signs of handling. Traces of stamps are scattered throughout the volume, suggesting that the work was occasionally amended for performances by an actor from the first performances. Pages 69 to 76 are loose handwritten pages, probably taken up by the actor who owned the volume. Binding damaged on the cover boards.
