Hussar sabre type 1776. Brass mounting, cap with long tail, a branch of guard being prolonged to form the cruise with two aurillons in shuttle and punched on a side H.P and I.HIVER. Strung fuse covered with calfskin (play in the mount). Large curved blade with a hollow side showing a monogram, flat back with no markings. Wooden scabbard covered with leather and two brass fittings stamped JG, late 18th century, blade width at heel: 4 cm, blade length: 81 cm, total length: 98 cm.
