One volume, folio, of approximately 125 leaves, handwritten in black or brown ink.
"Livre de raison que j'ai commencé le mois de mai mille sept cent sept...", Paul de Theas son of François and father of Jacques. It ends "Le 11 may 1726, Charly Sardou du Cannet a payé huit livres...". Full contemporary vellum binding with laces (missing) with some wear and bearing the handwritten title on the first cover.
ENCLOSED: CONTINUATION IN THE FAMILY OF THE LIVRE DE RAISON, OR MANUSCRIPT REGISTER ENDING IN 1800. One volume, in-4, of approximately 200 leaves. Only the first few leaves are handwritten with numerous details for the years 1798 and 1799. Period binding in pigskin with some wear (headpieces, cuts, corners).

This collection begins with a table of contents: Request from the Magistrate of Frankfurt to the Emperor - Certificate of Nobility - Letter from Monsieur le Duc de Choiseul - Diploma - Signatures and wax seals - etc.
ENCLOSED: NOTEBOOK WITH CALENDAR FOR 1723. Portfolio in-8, folding in red morocco, metal clasp.
