Very rare naval pistol with functional flint lock marked DUMARES BLACHON and surmounted by 2 crossed naval anchors, round barrel ending in Astragale with presence of 2 crossed anchors at the level of the thunder and marked TOULON. The barrel bears number 69 (certainly for 1769) and number 258, all iron fittings with hook, wooden ramrod, barrel length: 32.3 cm, lock length: 13.4 cm, overall length of pistol: 50 cm (See article in the Gazette des Armes N°15: Le pistolet de bord 1740-50 by Jean Boudriot).
