1st Empire staff officer's sword, blade with remnants of engraving and gilding marked on the heel I.G.B. Gilt bronze mount, keyboard with Medusa head framed by oak and olive branches. Curved hilt ending in a shell in which the lion's head of the pommel rests. Longitudinally grooved mother-of-pearl plates. Black leather scabbard (worn) with two patinated brass fittings. With a gilt wire strap, floche with large bubbles (probably later). Total length 83.5 cm, blade 72 cm.
