CAHIER King's goldsmith Round silver dish from the Empire period bordered by a frieze of palmettes, the wing engraved with a coat of arms under a marquis crown. Hallmarks of 1st title (.950) and guarantee for PARIS 1809-19 and hallmark of the prestigious master silversmith Jean-Charles CAHIER. Appointed goldsmith to Louis XVIII and then Charles X. In 1821 he even bought out Biennais' business. Diameter: 27.1 cm Weight : 817,2 grammes
