Traces of old restorations, rubbing on the boards, cracks on the spines without affecting the solidity of the work. Several sections slightly foxed. Copy illustrated with 171 engravings (complete), including 6 maps and 14 double plates. There are editions of this Bible without illustrations, and a few rare copies illustrated with 171 plates. The single plates have a title in three languages (English, French, Dutch). The double plates are slightly different in style, but form a coherent whole with the single plates. The illustrations are exceptionally rich. And despite its faults, our copy is still very enviable.
