MEXICAN NAVIGATION COMPANY - MODEL OF THE STEAMER CAMPECHE in wood, built in 1897 by the Archibald MILLAN & SON & LTD shipyards at Dumbarton in Scotland, length of the model: 93 cm. Natural wood display case: 33 x 125 x 16.5 cm.

Raymond LECOURT (1882-1946), "Honfleur: two old fishermen sitting in conversation on the quays", oil on canvas, signed lower right, titled in a cartouche, 108 x 129 cm. Some craquelure. NB: This hitherto unpublished and significant painting in Raymond LECOURT's oeuvre was produced around 1925-1926. Kept until now in the collections of a single family in Fécamp, this painting was known, in particular, from several preparatory canvases, which have been sold in recent years and now constitutes the final, completed version. Of these two sailors from Honfleur, one was called Désiré Louver: probably the one smoking a pipe.

Louis Honoré GAMAIN (1803-1871), "La Marie de Fécamp: passage du Cap Horn par mer déchainée", oil on canvas, signed and dated 1860 lower right, old restoration in the sky, 50 x 60 cm. Gilded stuccoed wooden FRAME (some accidents and missing parts, outside dimensions: 63 x 73 cm, inside rabbet 52 x 61 cm), annotated "Marie de Fécamp, capitaine S. Monnier" and "Au Cap Horn 1860". Nb: Built in 1856 in Fécamp by the Capon & Brument shipyards, "La Marie" is one of the few long-haul sailing ships from Fécamp to have travelled the world. Most of them were destined for Newfoundland. Sénateur Monnier was its first captain. In 1857, on a voyage to Ceylon and then India, he brought back ethnographic figurines from Kerala and the Malabar coast, now preserved in the Musée des Pêcheries de Fécamp. This portrait of a ship in a perilous situation is typical of those commissioned by captains (unlike those intended for shipowners): in 1860, it depicts "La Marie de Fécamp" travelling to Valparaiso, rounding Cape Horn in stormy seas, revealing the skill and bravery of its captain.

Paul Charles Emmanuel GALLARD-LEPINAY (1842-1885), "Navire battant pavillon américain dans la tempête", oil on canvas signed lower left, dated lower right 1881, 130 x 195 cm. Some tears and/or scratches. Important gilded stuccoed wood frame with acanthus leaves and laurels, width: 20 cm. N.B. According to family tradition, this painting came from the Hôtel du Bout du Monde in Sainte-Adresse and adorned one of the reception rooms of the Belgian provisional government during the First World War. CHINA, Qing dynasty, probably Canton, mid-19th century - Important decorative porcelain PLAT with a slightly celadon ground, full decoration of a luxuriant garden populated with birds, peacocks and butterflies, bamboo branch border, medallions with birds alternating with chrysanthemum flowers, gilt filleted rims (rubbing and wear), diameter : 47 cm. Restoration to the border.

Traveller's chest in wood and thick ebony veneer reinforced with angle irons and rich brass fittings, with side handles, rosewood veneered interior, front flap revealing 2 secret drawers, European work, 17th century, 43.5 x 69 x 43.5 cm. Damage and missing parts.

A blackened wood and brass marquetry sideboard decorated with foliage scrolls, rich bronze fittings on all sides including rose friezes, mascarons, shell spandrels and corner falls, white marble top, Boulle style, Napoleon III period, 108 x 119 x 140 cm. A few accidents and missing pieces.

A bronze CHIMNEY SET decorated with dragons, women's terms and Cupid, Regency style, comprising a CARTEL HANGER, enamelled cartouche dial with Roman numerals (63 x 37 x 18 cm), and a pair of 7-light FLAMPS (height: 64 cm), rubbed with use, Napoleon III period, 2nd half 19th century.
