Enriched with a letter from Marc Chagall "Pour le Warnotte Marc Chagall 1957 Vence" Warnotte was an industrialist and collector of paintings from Nice. This double issue, 33-34, of the magazine Verve is "devoted to the complete reproduction in heliogravure of the 105 plates etched by Marc Chagall between 1930 and 1955, for the illustration of the Bible".

Anna Boghiguian (born 1946) Embarcation et soleil rouge 2004 Coloured pencils on paper signed and dated lower right 30 x 42 cm Condition report: Folded Born in Egypt to an Armenian family, Anna Boghiguian produces drawings and paintings of individuals and urban spaces as well as being a poet. A nomad, she studied economics and social sciences at the American University in Cairo, while studying painting with Fouad Kamel. Her family then moved to Montreal, where she obtained a degree in visual arts and music. It was at this time that she lost her hearing... with a thirst for discovery, she continued to travel the continents, always accompanied by sketchbooks that she filled persistently. Her work has been exhibited at the Guggenheim in Abu Dhabi, Documenta 13 in Cassel in 2012, and MoMA in New York in 2017...

Aurore Valade was born in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, France, and is a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles. Her approach to photography is participatory: she draws inspiration from the everyday lives of her models and stages their vision of the world, where they blend in and merge with their environment. Despite the retouching and technical interventions, there is a real realistic force in her work. His photography is reminiscent of the Notes on the Melody of Things by the German poet and critic Rainer Marie Rilke. According to Rilke, understanding a character is less a matter of faithfully reproducing him or her than of representing the world in which he or she lives. Aurore Valade's work has won her numerous awards: Photo Folio Review des Rencontres d'Arles 2017, Prix de la Fondation HSBC pour la photographie 2008, Prix du Musée d'art moderne de Collioure 2006... Arthur Luiz Piza (1928-2017) TC1 2011 Polychrome ceramic signed, dated and numbered 6/8 on the back H. 42 cm W. 39 cm D. 6 cm Brazilian artist, student of Antonio Gomide. He first explored paper collages, then sculpture in a search for space. He uses all kinds of materials, some of them unusual. "I feel close to the Amazonian Indians who see the multicoloured flashes of birds in the tight, almost dark weave of the jungle". Arthur Luis Piza is an artist guided by a "desire for order that never materialises" (Paulo Sérgio Duarte).
